who we are

da1yn is an independent software studio. These terms cover da1yn.com, its subdomains, and the tools sold on them (currently CBP Interview Prep, Border Patrol Interview Prep, and Secret Service Interview Prep — "the tools"). Questions: dalynbutler@gmail.com.

the license

A purchase buys a personal, lifetime, non-transferable license to the tool you bought, tied to your da1yn account (your email). One license, one person. It isn't a subscription — pay once, keep it. We may revoke a license that's shared, resold, or used to abuse the service, and any license refunded under the refund policy.

what the tools are — and aren't

• They are practice tools. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Border Patrol, the United States Secret Service, DHS, or any government agency.
• Grades and verdicts are produced by an AI and are practice feedback, not predictions. We make no promises about hiring outcomes.
• Practice answers are your own. Don't submit content that's unlawful or someone else's confidential information.

accounts

Sign-in is by email link — no passwords. You're responsible for the email account you sign in with. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service (automated scraping, resale, attempting to break the tools).

payments

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Prices are shown at checkout and can change for future purchases, never retroactively for a license you already own.

availability & liability

We aim to keep the tools up, but they're provided "as is" — small-studio software, no uptime guarantee. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for anything arising from a tool is limited to what you paid for it.

changes

We may update these terms; the date above tells you when. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
